Through producing and entertainment industry education, Shayla’s work focuses on the intersection of storytelling, development, mentorship, and long-term sustainability within the creative industries. Her producing philosophy centers on building meaningful creative ecosystems that empower independent artists, filmmakers, and emerging storytellers to navigate the industry with both artistic integrity and business awareness.

Through her work in film sales, development, packaging, and distribution strategy, Shayla has contributed to the sale and distribution of more than 8,000 films across 80 countries. Her experience spans creative development, consulting, mentorship initiatives, and educational programming designed to help creatives better understand the business infrastructure behind storytelling.

As the founder of The Eii, Shayla collaborates on programs that support independent producers, expand access to industry knowledge, and create sustainable pathways for creatives working across film, theater, and emerging media.
